Lowes Insulation Deal step by step.
1.) Go to your local post office and pick up change of address pack. Inside the pack is a 10% off any Lowes purchase coupon.
2.) Go to Lowes and buy 48 rolls (approx 1500 SF) of Owens Corning or Johns-Manville In-Stock fiberglass insulation (Or at least $399 worth before tax and after coupon).
3.) Make copies of your receipts for your rebate and tax purposes.
4.) Fill out Lowes $100 rebate HERE and mail. Must be postmarked by 11/25/2009
5.) Claim the Energy Star Tax credit on your 2009 taxes. Information here.
After all is said and done you should get approx. 1500 Square feet of insulation for right around $296 ($296.07 per my math). You should recoup that money within a year or two from your decrease in your gas or electric bill
